A father and daughter approached me to create a custom map of the Kokoda Trail to commemorate the journey they completed together. For them, it wasn’t just a challenging trek — it was a shared achievement and a powerful experience that strengthened their bond.

We mapped the full route of their walk, highlighting the key points along the trail and the moments that stood out to them. The aim was to capture both the physical path they followed and the emotional significance of completing it side by side.

The finished piece is a tribute to their time on the Kokoda Trail — a personalised reminder of resilience, connection, and an adventure they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.
